...by clicking the big green button above. If this notice appears, you will need to add this site to your browser's whitelist:
Click "Edit Options..." in the bar. The Firefox "Allowed Sites" window will appear.
Click "Allow" to add BuyLater to the list of allowed sites, then click "OK".
You will need to click the "Download" link a second time to begin installation.
(If you don't want to go through all of that, you can grab the extension from addons.mozilla.org - but you'll have to sign up for a free mozilla.org account to download it.)
Step 2: Enter your email address...
...In the settings window that pops up after you install the extension, and restart your browser. If you want to get twitter notifications about your items (which you can get by cell phone, email, or IM), make sure you use the same email address that you used to register with twitter. Also, you need to make sure you're following "BuyLater" on Twitter.
Simply go to http://twitter.com/buylater, and click "Follow".
Step 3: Start shopping!
When you see something that's out of stock, or the price is a little too high, simply click the orange "Buy this Later" button. The first time you do this, you'll get a confirmation email. Click the link in that email - it will bring you back here. After that, you'll simply get a little "Alert" window, telling you that your "Item Watch" has been set.
Step 4: Manage your "watch-list"
In your browser, click on the "Tools" menu, and then click "Buy Later Settings". Now click the link at the bottom of that dialog box - it will take you to a web page that lists all your item watches. There's a handy link back to the product page for each item, its current best price, as well as stock availability and, after your purchase, an [X] for removing the item.
